This is the Spain's largest carrier, Iberia Airlines which has two main bases - Madrid-Barajas Airport and Barcelona-El Prat Airport. The airline is a member of the oneworld alliance, along with American Airlines, British Airways and Cathay Pacific. Iberia has two subsidiary airlines - Clickair and Air Nostrum. It also has a stake in Royal Air Maroc. Iberia Airlines is a market leader on flights between
Europe and Latin America. On November 13, 2009, Iberia made a preliminary agreement to merge with its oneworld partner British Airways.
